Is our information Technology equipment are robust enough to support the thriving business continuously?

Aligning the Business Strategy and the IS/IT Strategies

Before making any investment plan for IS/IT requirements of the Company, we need to make sure that the IT/IS strategy must be aligned with the Business strategy. For example, suppose a company’s business strategy is to expand the organisation. In that case, we need to think about the planned IT/IS strategy, whether the available IT infrastructure can deal with the organization’s growth or make more investment in Infrastructure.

The list of investigation that needs to be done to support their Business strategy are as follows:
Are we using the correct IT infrastructure to provide the best services to the clients continuously as per business?
Are we investing in the proper IT infrastructure?
Is our information Technology equipment are robust enough to support the thriving business continuously?
Is our Information Technology securely managed and maintained? Does it provide the services to the clients as per their requirements?
Does our IS/IT strategy aligns with the current business needs, and does it support future business requirements.
Is it cost-effective?
