All discussions must be written in essay MLA format and should be at least 3-4 well-developed paragraphs in length (however, a minimum 500 words is needed to receive credit). Each student must first post his/her discussion, before peer posts become visible. Don’t forget to respond to 2 peer posts and complete follow-ups on your own post.

This is not a research assignment. The primary sources and introductory essays in the book should provide enough information to answer this question. The required videos may also provide some background/support but should not be the sole basis of the response provided. Students need to use their own critical thinking and analytical skills. Any information referenced must be cited in MLA format. Referencing outside research, however, is STRONGLY discouraged. Paraphrased, as well directly quoted material from the course text must be cited with in-text citation which includes the author and page number – Example: (Baumer, 19). Any other source that is paraphrased, referenced, or quoted must be cited with both an in-text and work cited MLA format citation. Discussion posts containing plagiarized content will receive a “0” and the student may be required to complete the CF Academic Integrity Seminar.
